How do I access the clinic?

The gym is accessed via a buzzer at the entrance. Please wait until your appointment time before pressing the buzzer. We ask that you avoid buzzing early so as not to disturb ongoing sessions.

Where should I wait?

If you arrive a little early, please wait outside until your appointment time and then use the buzzer to let us know you're here. Your physiotherapist will come to meet you.

Yes, there is plenty of parking available on site.

To make the most of your appointment, we'd kindly ask that any relevant scans or reports are sent to andrew@restartperformancephysio.co.uk ahead of your visit or brought along with you on the day.

We recommend wearing loose, comfortable clothing. For lower body complaints, shorts are preferred. If you're attending with a shoulder problem, a sports top or vest is recommended so your therapist can assess the joint effectively.

How do online sessions work?

Online sessions are delivered via a secure video call. Once booked, you'll receive a confirmation email containing your link , no specialist software or downloads needed.

What do I need for an online session?

A quiet space with enough room to move freely, a stable internet connection, and a device with a camera (phone, tablet, or laptop all work well).

Are online sessions as effective as in-person appointments?

Absolutely. Your physiotherapist will carry out a thorough virtual assessment, discussing your symptoms, movement, and history before providing a personalised treatment plan and clear guidance on your next steps, the same level of care you'd expect in the clinic.

What happens after my online session?

You'll receive a summary of your assessment and rehabilitation plan so you have everything you need to begin your recovery with confidence.

We understand that life can be unpredictable. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we ask that you give us at least 24 hours' notice so that we can offer your slot to another patient.

What happens if I cancel with less than 24 hours' notice?

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice or missed appointments may be subject to a cancellation fee (50% of the appointment cost).

You can cancel or reschedule by contacting us directly and we'll do our best to find an alternative time that works for you.

What if Restart Performance Physiotherapy needs to cancel?

In the unlikely event that we need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we will contact you as soon as possible and ensure you are offered the next available slot at no additional cost.
